Fontanel, a great place for inspiration, published an interview with Merel Brugman. I never heard of her and I have to say that I felt almost ashamed that I did't . This 23 year old artist delivers some amazing artwork. As you can tell by here photo's she is inspired by surrealism and great names as Sophie Calle en René Margritte. Surrealism is the dread though all her work. She is a painter with her lens and computer, one of the most promising artist to date with photo manipulation. I know we ain't seen the last of her yet!
